Unsolicited calls from third party "Ecommerce Positioning".

Recently it has been brought to our attention from some of you, well as some of our business partners, that some ShoppePro clients are being contacted by a a company called eCommerce Positioning (http://ecommercepositioning.com). These callers claim, often in a persistent or aggressive manner, to offer search engine optimization or that there are problems with your website coding. Additionally, these callers often insinuate that they are somehow affiliated with ShoppePro. Please note, eCommerce Solutions is in no way affiliated with ShoppePro.
Rest assured that ShoppePro does not provide your contact information to any third parties. Companies like this are able to access phone numbers by searching public "WHOIS" information associated with Domain Registrations. We highly recommend enabling privacy protection, which is a free option for those of you who have registered your domain names with us. Please see the link below for more information: If you are unsure if you have Privacy Protection (sometimes called "ID Protection") on your domain registration, you can search your domain name in the WHOIS database at http://whois.domaintools.com. If you are able to see your personal contact information, we recommend contacting your domain registrar to enable Domain Privacy.
Also, if you are considering doing business with eCommerce Positioning or any other potential service provider we recommend researching them online first.
