Sometimes you will want to update the wording or default text that appears on your site or cart-generated emails. You can do this right from your store admin in the Languages area. To do this, follow the steps below.
- Go to Cart Settings > Global Cart settings > Localization, Languages & Currencies
- Click the Language tab
- Click the word English (or your current selected language)
- Select the appropriate category from the drop down boxes, where your message is most likely to appear.
- Scroll down until you find the message that is currently on your order confirmations that you wish to change.
Tip: Use your browser's "Find" function to help you find the text you're looking to change on the page. (CTRL+F on a PC, or Command + F on a Mac, will bring up a text search box where you can type your search word to find on the page) - Change the text and wording in the yellow boxes, and then scroll all the way down to save changes.
- Once you've saved the new text, you will still need to regenerate your cache folder before the changes will take effect. To do this, go to Cart settings > Appearance & Content > Change Site Theme. Then click the Refresh Theme button to reload the cache folder so your changes take effect.
