Encrypted Payments Button error message




If you receive the following error message while trying to checkout and pay via Paypal

"The seller accepts encrypted website payments only. You cannot pay the seller through un-encrypted buttons. Please contact your seller for more details."


Follow these steps to correct:

1. Log in to your account at https://www.paypal.com/
2. Click the "Profile" subtab.
3. Click the "Website Payment Preferences" link in the Selling Preferences column.
4. Below the "Encrypted Website Payments" section select the "Off" radio button.
5. Click "Save."
