How do I change the currency to something other than USD?

To change the cart currency to something other than US Dollars, you must do 2 things:

1. Go into your Store Administration and click "Catalog Setup". On the upper righthand corner, you will see where you can change the $ to something else. Save that page.

2. Don't forget to change the currency in your Mal's account as well. Go to Mal's and login: https://mals-e.com/login.php using your Mal's ID and password . Then click on "Cart Setup", then "Customize", then "Language, country and currency". Change the drop down for currency to your country's currency, and change the text from "All prices are in US Dollars" to "All prices are in (your currency).
