If your site is under construction and you want to hide your home page from public view, or if you need to do some site maintenance and want hide your home page from public view, but you still want to be able to see how your site looks, you can utilize the Coming Soon or Maintenance theme.
- Log into your store admin
- Click "Pages"
- Click "Edit" next to the home page.
- Scroll down and where you see "Optional Theme", choose either "COMING SOON" or "MAINTENANCE".
- Save the page.
When visitors go to your domain, they will see the Coming Soon or Maintenance template.
If you would like to see your site, you can go to your catalog page by adding /catalog.htm onto the end of your domain name in your internet browser. (http://yourdomain.com/catalog.htm) - replacing yourdomain.com with your actual domain name, and you can browse around your own site that way.
