One great feature about Ultimate cart is that you can do something to stop annoying spam user registrations and spam testimonial submissions. Here is how to use this great feature.
SIGN UP FOR A FREE RECAPTCHA ACCOUNT
- Go to http://recaptcha.com
- Click "Get ReCaptcha"
- Click "Sign Up Now"
- Enter your domain
- Click My Account on the left and then click on your domain name
- You should see your Public and Private keys. Keep this browser window open for your Private and Public Keys
ENABLE RECAPTCHA ON YOUR SITE
- Go to your Cart Settings > Global Cart Settings > Security & Protection Settings > Captcha
- Select ReCaptcha from the drop down.
- Enter your Public Key and Private Key from your ReCaptcha registration
- Click Save Changes
ENABLE RECAPTCHA ON YOUR TESTIMONIALS
- Go to your Marketing > Testimonials > Settings Tab
- Next to "Use reCAPTCHA", select "Yes".
- Save Settings
