Hello from Style in the city!
Hi Everyone! I've been with Shoppe Pro since November 2011. First time on forums. My website went live December 1st. Would love to get input/advice/tips from any experienced with retailing on the internet via their own website. I'm getting frustrated with slow sales even though I know it takes time to get discovered. Maybe just being impatient! I really want to make this work. Thanks everyone!

Hi there! Patience is super important. Do you have a blog? Make sure you have links to your site from your blog if you have one. Tons of traffic comes from my blog so that's one way to get people over to your site.
I suggest putting a link to your site in your signature of all your emails.
You can also put a link in your profile here on the forums so that everytime you post your link or button to your site posts too. I just suggest really putting your site out there in everything you do. Facebook, twitter, blog, etsy...

Thanks ! No, don't have blog although I had previously heard that it was helpful to direct traffic to your website. (not sure I have lot to blog about !!!!). Would need to think that through--subject and all.
And Yes, I am adding the link to email addresses and will do on the forum profile. Now as far as etsy is concerned (currently setting up that selling site) it is my impression from their regulations, that I cannot put a link to my website there. But I sure would like to. Is there something I don't know or missed?
