Does anyone know how to have a place at the bottom where it says how many Shoppers are online?

Not the one that says online users.  But the one that says __ shoppers online.

Just like the following website (scroll to bottom)

http://www.1unique-boutique.com/

Thanks in advance!

FYI - That site actually has that text written in (look at the page source and you'll see the HTML for text actually written in).  Funny trick.

BUT you can get a real version at freeonlineusers.com

Yes, but that service only offers the one that says "users online"

I want it to say "__ Shoppers online"

Rebecca - Once you get the code from freeonlineusers you will need to insert the code into your template where ever you want to place it.  create a new paragraph <p>enter code here</p>.  I would do it right about your copy right Smiley

Thanks Michelle,

Gosh I feel so dumb asking this but I copied the code and tried to input it on the bottom of my home page? All that came up was the exact code. So I had to delete it. What am I doing wrong?

Thanks!

On your template, what you insert should look something like this:

<p align="center"><!-- Start FreeOnlineUsers.com -->
<a href="http://www.freeonlineusers.com">
<font color=#3d2309><script type="text/javascript" src="http://freeonlineusers.com/on3.php?id=125685"> </script> Sassy Customers Online</font></a>
<!-- End FreeOnlineUsers.com --></p>

But of course with the code you got at freeonlineusers.  I would enter that near the end right after </table> and before:

<p><span style="font-size:8pt;"><span class="smfont">&#169;2004 - 2008 Fancy Pants Tutus. All rights reserved. Powered by <a href="http://www.shoppepro.com" target="_blank">ShoppePro</a>.</span><BR>

            design :: <a href="http://pinkinkdesignco.com/" target="_blank">pink ink design co.</a>:: All rights reserved. </span></p>

Hope that helps.  If you're stumped still you can PM me your admin password and I can do it for you Smiley

Silly question but does anyone know how accurate this is? This morning it said I had 26 shopppers online, right now it says 15? Not one sale, although my site isn't fully loaded with products but that seems like alot to me without one sale. Just alot of lookers?

Thanks!

I wondered myself.  I went on your site to see where you decided to put it and saw 25 and was quite impressed Smiley  Usually mine has 1 (me) or 2-3.  Which I think is accurate for me.  So I don't know Smiley
