Hello, all! I am just starting out my new business and am so excited to have found Shoppe Pro! I've spent the last few hours perusing through the forums and now am SCARED TO DEATH - what have I gotten myself in to??? I know absolutely nothing about setting up websites, but hopefully will be able to fumble my way through it! My business is decorative vinyl lettering used to turn plain, boring walls into inspirational works of art! Would love any words of wisdom anyone may have to offer! Just wanted to introduce myself and say hello to everyone!

hello

The only advices advice that I could recommend you -not sure it will be of any help is:to be patient, calm, no hesitating to ask for help, browsing the other site of the other member and most of all enjoy yourself, people here are very nice and they will help out whenever can.

Welcome amonst us !!!

Welcome to Shoppepro! I always recommend to my customers that first, do not try to absorb everything at once. Go to the Knowlegebase, and find the tutorial about adding text to a page. When you have actually accomplished adding text and are comfortable, then find the tutorial about adding an image. Then when you have mastered that, move on to creating a category, and then a product, being sure that before you move to the next tutorial you have mastered the previous. Each time you do you will feel more confident. Lots of great support here at the forums, no question is too big or small, and Karina delivers top-knotch tech support that is unmatched so you are in good hands. :D

Welcome to SP. I have been working on my getting my website up the for a little over a week. I still feel a bit confused and frustrated on how to do different things. People here are so friendly and willing to help, so I have found comfort in that. Lots of forum and knowledge base searching and post questions if you can't find the answer you need. Happy site creating!
Regards,
Lisa

As mentioned, this forum is quite helpful. In addition to getting answers to my specific questions, it is helpful to use the search feature when I am not sure how to do something. Many times (more often than not) someone else has had the same question, and I get an instant answer! Don't be scared, most of us didn't know a thing going into it either!

Thank you everyone, for all your encouraging words! I'm plugging along, mostly figuring out what NOT to do, but am making a little leeway on my site! It is so wonderful to have such a great support system - I feel blessed I found all of you!

Thank you again!
