Hello all,

I just signed up a few weeks ago and have been slowly getting my feet wet with all of these new applications. I am a floral designer who specializes in events. I really wanted a website that was more stylish than my crummy old Yahoo one, and with more flexibility than many of the florist ones. Thankfully I found Shoppe Pro and Jennifer at the Posh Pixel!!!

My latest challenge is trying to figure out all of this Mal's stuff! For some reason when I attempted to use the "Button Maker" I ended up with the "buy it now" button on my admin page, and on the actual website that the world sees all you see is the code for the button! If anyone can help please do! Thanks!

Heather - What page are you seeing this on?

Thanks for replying! It's on a page called "Sunshine Daisy Corsage"

Ah yes, I see it. Do you want the button on there? Since your order button will automatically place it in your cart??

Yes, I think so, I wasn't really sure of where to post the link I copied...what do you think?

You would need to place the HTML code in the HTML box. You can access this by click the < > button. Hope that helps :)

wait wait..... HALT! Why are you placing this code on the page? You already have an order button. You shouldn't be using the Mal's button maker.....

Oh no, I can't seem to delete the actual button that is on the admin page itself!

Oh dear!

Do I even need to bother with this "Buy it Now" button at all then?

No :) there's no reason at all to use the button maker. The software itself already places the order button. You see, some people use Mal's without any software and they have to manually create buy it now buttons for each of their products. This is not the case with SHoppe Pro. The Shoppe Pro software creates your order button for each of your products based on what you input in your store admin.

I did notice your Options were set up incorrectly on that product. I'm assuming you want the person to choose between Pink, Lavender, and White. Right? Then you would only use Option #1 box. It would look like this:

Option #1
Name: Color
Type: Drop Down Box
Attributes:
Pink~Lavender~White

This would create a drop down box for the customer to choose before they click "Order". Does this helps?

Also, I removed that Buy Now code for you.

Thank you so much!!!! That certainly clears it up! Could you also possibly remove it from the Baby Shower Corsage too?

Also I just sent you a support ticket, please disregard it....I wasn't sure if you needed any additional info that I shouldn't be posting on a public forum...
