How to insert a picture into your page You can add an image almost anywhere you can add text within your site context using the built-in HTML editor. This includes Category Descriptions, Pages, Product Descriptions, Popup Window Descriptions.... anywhere there is the HTML editor. Before we start.......... IMPORTANT NOTE: If you receive an error message like this, Do Not Panic!: 404 Not Found for 67.225.153.164/storeadmin/Editor/assetmanager/assetmanager.php?ffilter=image port 80
The reason for this error was described in your initial Welcome Email. The "Insert Image" button within the HTML editor DOES NOT WORK on a Temporary URL. This means 2 things:- You won't be able to use the Image Upload function within the HTML editor until your domain name has been pointed to Shoppe Pro.
- If your domain name has propagated to Shoppe Pro, you MUST access your store admin on your domain url (http://yourdomain.com/storeadmin). If your domain has propagated, but you are still using your temporary store admin address (such as http://67.225.153.164/~username/storeadmin) , the image upload function will still NOT work on this temporary URL. You will need to start accessing your store admin at its permanent address of yourdomain.com/storeadmin.
